Projects and Developments:
 

In 2011 the Café-Gallery “On the Hill, therapeutic centre and new offices were opened.

Groups and individual visitors are welcomed to the dairy café staffed by the residents with a gallery selling arts and crafts produced in the home.

                                                                     
 

Thanks go to the Israel National Insurance; The UK Archie Sherman Charitable Trust; JNF UK National Golf Committee; Nancy & Ken Haron U.S; The Dorset Fund and a wonderful donor who funded this complex.

 

NEW PROJECT -  Assisted-Living Complex:

In autumn 2015, construction of an assisted-living complex will commence.

A state -of- the- art facility housing 8 wheelchair-accessible apartments for 3-4 residents; large rest and recreation lobbies; fully-equipped clinic and security areas; large balconies on two levels surrounded by landscaped gardens.

                            

 

 
 

Projects to be funded:

·         Apartments for residents in need of nursing care facilities - 70 square meters each – 518,000 shekels (NIS)  / £85,000 / $140,000

·         Downstairs entrance hall with R&R area - 23 square meters - 170,000 NIS/ £27,000/ $46,000

·         Clinic  - 70 square meters – 518,000 NIS /  £ 84,000 / $140,000

·         2 Emergency safety rooms- 900,000 NIS/ £150,000 / $ 243,000

The UK Archie Sherman Charitable Trust ; The Sobell Foundation and The UK JNF National Golf Committee and the Israel National Insurance are amongst the supporters of the soon to be constructed assisted-living complex.

 

 

 

Other donations include:

·         St. Louis Jewish Federation supported a year of therapeutic horse-riding for 12 residents.

                                                                      

·         Jewish Child’s Day, UK and Greater Hartford Jewish Federation, US funded the services to manage the busy pet corner used daily for pet therapy.

                                   

·         Nancy & Kamal Haron, CT US completed their 3 year commitment to funding the Café-Gallery marketing and managing expenses.

                                   

·          Joe Golden,US, Heidi Zingre, SW ;Ruth Tuckman Isr; Jane Seddon US;Leon Leboff  Isr. and  Ben Nothman UK all helped towards much-needed equipment and furnishing for school-age children.

·         Samuel Karonsky z”l  Scholarship  through the Karonsky Family Fund, Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay, Oakland, CA for the barmitzvah program.
